Consultant who benefited from Uresti-authored law to plead guilty to tax fraud in San Antonio
A Beaumont-area consultant who benefited financially from a law authored by San Antonio’s former state Sen. Carlos Uresti has agreed to plead guilty to a federal charge that he intentionally under-reported his gross income by $1.8 million.
